Q: What inspires you as a creative professional in our community?
A: Making Columbus a better place is what drives me every day at work. My passion for this community is what keeps me living and working in Columbus. Surrounding myself with people who feel the same way, those who see problems, and what to find solutions, that is what inspires me the most.
Q: How did you get involved in the arts?Â
A: On a personal level, I have always been passionate about the arts and consider myself an amateur collector. I try my best to support local artists and friends, always buying art when my wallet allows it.
Professionally, Yalla has added video production management and graphic design into its wheelhouse in the last year. My mind is this crazy place where creativity meets type-a organization. Sometimes it works out, and sometimes it doesn't!Â
Q: Are there any projects you are working on independently that you'd like to share with our audience?
A: I am currently working with a friend on his music video. He is from Columbus but is now a full-time musician in Austin, Texas. We are helping produce a music video for his band Los Coast.
Q: What is your favorite thing to do in Columbus?Â
A: My favorite thing to do in Columbus is to pack a cooler, grab my raft, dog, and boyfriend, and take a trip down our river. We have secret beach spots along the way we enjoy.

Q: Who inspires you? Please nominate another Wave Maker in our community that you think should be featured on our platform.
A: I am inspired by Alee Link. Not only is she a business owner and Yoga Instructor, but she is one of the most devoted people I know to her passion. She spends day-in and day-out educating herself more about her trade and sharing it with our city. She collects art and has a photography background. She isn't just a wavemaker...the girl is the actual WAVE.
