It's the most wonderful time of the year, and tonight in Columbus, Georgia there's a perfect way to celebrate. Celtic Angels Christmas is live at the RiverCenter for the Performing Arts at 7:30PM as a part of their national holiday tour.
We corresponded with Louise Barry – who serves as the head rriter, director, and lead Angel for the show. Here's what she had to say about why Celtic Angels Christmas is a perfect show for the whole family.
Q: What is it like to be the writer/director and lead angel?
A: I feel so very fortunate to perform all over this beautiful country with my Celtic Angels family. Performing is in my blood and I truly am grateful that I get to do what I love, everyday. The cherry on top is that I get to put some of the things I love most about my dear Emerald Isle on paper and see the immense talent of this company bring it to life. It makes me very proud of both my roots and this company.
Q: What is special about this particular holiday tour?
A: I think the thing that makes Celtic Angels Christmas so special is the blend of the traditional Irish tunes with the classic holiday songs, that audiences all over know and love.
The Angels, each unique in their presence and vocal style, transport the audience with their stunning harmonies, while the Celtic Knight dancers will have your heart pumping and your hands clapping. Add the fully live, Trinity Ensemble, all masters in their field and magic happens.
Q: What would you like our audience to know before they see the show?
A: Being from Dublin, I do love to get everyone involved. Singing is encouraged, clapping along is mandatory and if you take pictures or videos, please tag us @celticangelsshow or CMI presents Celtic Angels. ◾️
