One of Broadway’s most recognizable voices is headed to Columbus, Georgia this fall.
Tony and Emmy Award-winning actress and singer Kristin Chenoweth will take the stage at RiverCenter for the Performing Arts on Friday, November 6, 2026, at 7:30 p.m. for a one-night-only performance of her Greatest Hits concert in the Bill Heard Theatre.
The performance is part of RiverCenter’s 25th Anniversary Season, bringing an artist whose career has spanned Broadway, television, film, recording and concert stages around the world to the heart of Uptown Columbus.
From Broadway’s Wicked to Columbus, Georgia
For Broadway fans, Chenoweth needs little introduction.
She originated the role of Glinda in Wicked, earning a Tony Award nomination for the performance that would become one of the defining roles of her career. She previously won the Tony Award for You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown.
Her career extends well beyond Broadway. Chenoweth won an Emmy Award for her performance as Olive Snook in Pushing Daisies and has appeared in television favorites including The West Wing and Glee. She has also been honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, is a member of the Oklahoma Music Hall of Fame, and has released seven studio albums.
In Columbus, audiences will have the opportunity to experience the side of Chenoweth’s career that brings all of those worlds together: live music. Her Greatest Hits concert spans Broadway favorites, pop hits and fan-requested classics from throughout her decades-long career.

A Milestone Moment for RiverCenter
Chenoweth’s appearance comes as RiverCenter celebrates 25 years of bringing nationally and internationally recognized performers to Columbus and the Chattahoochee Valley.
“An artist of Kristin Chenoweth’s caliber is exactly the kind of moment we envisioned for our 25th Anniversary Season,” said Lee Foster, Executive Director of RiverCenter for the Performing Arts.
Foster pointed to Chenoweth’s remarkable career across Broadway, television and stages around the world as an example of what RiverCenter hopes to offer audiences during its anniversary year: opportunities to experience world-class artists right here in Columbus.
For 25 years, RiverCenter has served as one of the Chattahoochee Valley’s most important performing arts spaces, welcoming national touring Broadway productions, internationally recognized artists and community programming to its stages. Chenoweth’s one-night-only appearance offers another opportunity to celebrate that legacy while looking toward RiverCenter’s next chapter.
