Updated: 7 days ago

On May 18, Elvis Presley 2021 Ultimate Tribute Artist Patrick Dunn will perform live at the Springer Opera House for a show benefitting the Youth Orchestra of Greater Columbus (YOGC) and the Paws Humane Society.

The King is Back will be a rock'n'roll filled production offering a once-in-a-lifetime experience to hear orchestral arrangements of Elvis’ greatest hits. The benefit has been organized through a joint collaboration between Playing for Good, the Springer Opera House, YOGC and the Paws Humane Society.

This unique show will bring many musicians to the Springer's stage. Audience members can expect to see musicians from the Youth Orchestra of Greater Columbus performing alongside professional musicians from the Chattahoochee Valley, and they will all be conducted by the show’s creator, Dr. Bryan English, of Dallas, TX.

Additionally, The King is Back includes a 4-piece rhythm section & backup singers, along with a special appearance by a gospel quartet. Saturday's gospel numbers will feature singers from a local gospel ensemble called “Solid Rock.”

Locals should know that all proceeds from the show will be funneled directly to YOGC and Paws Humane Society. All performers, driven by their passion for music and love for these incredible non-profit organizations, have graciously donated much of their time and talents to this worthy cause. Join them by purchasing a ticket to raise much-needed funds for these deserving non-profits, and go enjoy a wonderful evening of music!◼️
