RiverCenter and The Columbusite Announce Partnership

RiverCenter for the Performing Arts and The Columbusite have announced an exclusive partnership for the 2022-23 Season.

Now celebrating its 20th Season, RiverCenter will offer ticket buyers and Members the opportunity to receive The Columbusites extraordinary cultural arts news and publications.

Ticket buyers for RiverCenter events will have the opportunity to opt in to The Columbusites free weekly email, The Sunday Best, which outlines events and happenings for the upcoming week.

As a benefit, RiverCenter Members will have the option of the members-only, Columbusite bi-monthly e-newsletter, The Current, featuring early access to new web content, discounts to local restaurants and shows, and reminders about upcoming events, a $60 value. RiverCenter Members at the Marquee Society level may also elect to receive an annual subscription to The Columbusites bi-annual print journal which will be delivered to their home, an additional value of $50.

“We are very excited to work with Carrie Beth Wallace and The Columbusite on this project,” said RiverCenter Executive Director Norman Easterbrook. “This partnership just makes sense. RiverCenter has supported The Columbusite as a title sponsor since its inception five years ago. They do a phenomenal job in promoting all the arts and culture in the area. If you visit their website (TheColumbusite.net) or receive The Sunday Best or The Current, you will certainly have your finger on the cultural pulse of the area, and the print journal provides an opportunity to take an in-depth look at the artists and cultural organizations that add so much to the Columbus area, both artistically and economically. This partnership is part of our continuing effort to grow the RiverCenter experience for our audience and supporters. We want to be part of sharing the good things that Columbus has to offer.”

“On behalf of our entire team at The Columbusite, I’d like to extend our gratitude to the RiverCenter for inviting us to participate in this season’s new partnership,” said Founder and Editor-in-Chief Carrie Beth Wallace. “When they approached us with the idea, we immediately knew it was an ideal marriage of efforts and one that will further our effort to grow our audience on behalf of every arts & culture entity in Columbus. It is our goal to expand this model next season by opening it up to all our partners across the city. The more of us working together to get positive, diverse, and accessible information about the arts to as many people as possible, the better. Thanks to RiverCenter’s leadership for their ingenuity in creating this exciting and inventive collaborative effort. We’re thrilled to be a part of it.”

RiverCenter ticket buyers can join the email list for The Sunday Best by contacting the RiverCenter box office at 706-256-3612 between the hours of 10AM and 5:30PM, Monday through Friday, or by emailing their request to boxoffice@rivercenter.org. RiverCenter will contact Members individually, or Members may also contact development@rivercenter.org to make their request.
