ArtsFest Celebrates the Essential Role of the Arts in Columbus, Georgia!

April is Arts & Culture Month in Columbus, Georgia and we're celebrating BIG with ArtsFest! The goal of this new month-long festival is to highlight the essential role of the arts in Columbus by bringing people together to experience everything the arts contribute to our quality of life here. ArtsFest highlights the rich creative talent and many arts organizations who work tirelessly to provide world-class arts programming in Columbus year round. Talk about something to celebrate!

Statistically, communities that have a vibrant presence of the arts are healthier overall. The arts are not a luxury but a fundamental necessity for the holistic well-being and vitality of communities. As we celebrate the transformative power of the arts during ArtsFest, let's reaffirm our commitment to nurturing creativity, supporting cultural initiatives, and ensuring that the arts continue to thrive as a vibrant heartbeat within our city.

ArtsFest 2024 encompasses 70 events from 30+ organizations presented throughout the month of April, includes the work of more than 100 local artists, and features the first annual ArtsFest Block Party. This free, community-wide event will take place on April 20 from 9AM-Noon on grounds of the RiverCenter for the Performing Arts. (Thank you to the RiverCenter for being our hosts!)

In other words, ArtsFest is going to be FUN.
